Yeah yeah I know...that's just the entrance of the building. Err basically...that pretty sums up what we managed to see for our trip....cause they were having this event so the showcase exhibition was closed. Bummer huh!? Oh well, but at least managed to eat at Maxwell food centre again. Really great food there. Tried this soya bean with pearls..cool eh?

Anyway the peeps today are going down again, with the complimentary free admission tickets given by the counter lady that night. She probably felt sorry for us seeing our disappointed faces. But couldn't join them today man...cos having this bad sore throat and feeling sickly.
Sighh hope it doesn't go beyond the sore throat man.

Was waiting for Yanquan to catch the movie 'V For Vendetta' yesterday. As I was seating there, I saw 2 persons walking towards the bench. 1 of them was a guy, who seemed to be inclined to the feminine side. He had makeup on, and had facial and physical features like a lady.
Interestingly, I started to observe the reactions of people who were walking past us. As expected, 9 out of 10 people gave looks and stares at the person as they passed by him. Apparently, he was standing out with the statement he was making. That statement of his desire and choice for himself...I wonder how long he took to make it. Whatever the case...I think it was hard for the decision to be made, and harder still to maintain it. Here is a man who's able to cast aside the disapproving stares of the people around him, and stood firm in his choice. (not that I'm for it though)
I think I would have difficulty standing up under all that pressure. There were the times I chose to blend in and be "normal" in my stand as a Christian, to save my own skin. Funny how a cynical stare has the power to silence my proclaimation as a Christian.
And if not, what are the statements I have been making with my life?
Have I been confusing people with my double standardness? Have I been judgemental? Have I kept mum when I should have stood up to defend Him? Have I allowed the standards of the world to dull my senses and desire for His righteousness?
May the following chapters of my life, be written for Your sake as the world reads on.
