Yep...found work just this Tuesday. Really something to thank God for. I actually booked an interview session on Monday. But due to some long story and genuine miscommunication, I was actually at the wrong place...which means I missed the interview! Wahh...really feel saded man.
I emailed the person when I got home explaining and apologizing....really paiseh and sheepish lah! :P
The lady said it was ok, and agreed to meet again on Tuesday! Woahh...don't know what to say man.
On tuesday during the interview, I couldn't get the job I wanted cause I was required to work on weekends. Sighh...but I can't. Really a pity, cause she felt that I was suitable for the job too. In the end, she offered another one, lower pay but 5 day work. Oh well, I agreed. I was suppose to wait for roughly 2-3 hours for the company's response. But I barely stepped into the lift when the lady ran out and said they're taking me! Wooahhhh. What's that man...they're really eager man.
And so like that bing bing piang piang I landed myself in a job at Raffles Place. Don't know what to say..but the night before my 1st day of work, as I laid in bed, it was a sense of peace, of His providence.
So yep...first day of work today.
It's some kinda broker tradings company.
Hard to show you more pics lah....I'll have to kill you if I let you see.....
Huh what?? You all want to see me working in there? Haiz...okok...due to overwhelming responses...shhhh...dun let anyone know....show you 1 pic of me hard at work...
Err...okie...MAYbe it looks like stoning instead...but hey...it's tiring leh!
Pretty nice quiet environment. The peeps are friendly too. Especially the person in charge over me, Alan. Really nice friendly guy. Walked through with me and demo-ed the stuff I needed to do. What's more, this person sitting next to me, is actually from the same poly and course as me! An earlier batch. But great guy too...but too bad...next week is his last before he's posted over to Hong Kong.
Well...let's see what comes out of this as I do this month of work in the midst of waiting for uni application. Hope it'll be a fruitful time of learning in Him.
Feel so tired on my way home today. But in the midst of it all...really thank You..for Your providence. Though feeling unprepared and inadequate many a times...help me fix my eyes upon You, who promised to never leave nor forsake.
