Well....it's finally over. A month of contract work. Not really that long actually...but it feels as though I've been there for awhile. I dunno....guess I do get attached to things and environments pretty fast?
But really...most of it is due to the people I'm working with. I've said it before...don't mind me, but they're really...nice.
1 of them my "poly ancestor" who was from an earlier batch of my poly course, keeping touch with him after he's posted over to Hong Kong. 2nd one a sweet and nice lady, helpful she is. 3rd but definitely not least, my supervisor who's from Hong Kong.
Today he was wrapping things up with me for a proper handover. He sat through with me, helping and explaining any difficulties I had (told you he's nice!). Man....I've heard enough stories of the cruel working world out there to really appreciate this gracious providence from God.
He brought me out to lunch, and treated me to this eating place....
The food was quite nice. The gesture...even more so. Heh, I sneaked out around evening time while they were not around to buy some blackcurrent cheese cake for them as a token of appreciation. [Thanks to the one who suggested to me getting something for them =) ]
Hmm....as I was doing the handover for my stuff, realised that there were things and areas I could have done better in...gotta learn from it I guess. Bid a good farewell to them. Hope my presence had made a difference, for Him.
So where to...from here on?
Let's see where He leads then.
