It wasn't a particularly big branch, and is always crowded during lunch time. (Actually, it's crowded EVERYWHERE at eating places around Raffles Places during lunch time.... -_-")
After you order the meal, they'll pass you a waiting number and a cup. Yeah you heard that right...an empty cup! They have this drink counter with an assortment of drinks. So you decide how much ice and drink you want. Cool huh?!
It was really fast service. I've barely finished filling my drink and explored around the sauce counter, a waiter was looking around for me already. Thankfully, I managed to find a 4-seater for myself.
Ok, maaaaayybe it's just me. But just how many times have you seen a burger bigger than the width and circumference of the drink cup? And that huge packet of fries. They still have a double cheeseburger version of what I ordered, and this is JUST the regular meal...there's still a large sized meal. Waahh I don't dare to imagine mannn.

two onion rings and tangy BBQ sauce on sesame seed bun. Mmmmmm
Melted cheese. Beef patty. Bacon strips. Onion rings. Everything came together pretty nicely, better than BK's bacon burger in my opinion. Fries was pretty normal, but still better than MacaDee's. Drink? Here comes the next best part....
I saw this waitress approach a couple, asking them some stuff before taking away their cups and returning it to them awhile later. That's when I realised...FREE REFILL!! WOOHOOO! Cool lahh. So using what I learnt from a "How to act like an Oscar winner in 24 hours" book, I looked at my cup giving a "Awww...I'm outta drink" look longingly. Wasn't long before the waitress approached to help me refill my lemon tea. Wooohoooo!
Yep...so there you have it. A first time visit review for Carl's Junior. They should be called Carl's Senior or Carl's Humongous lahh...considering their serving sizes. The service was good.
The only thing I can really complain is the price. It's really steep for burgers. My set costs $9.30. Yeah...you can almost eat a kenny rogers with that price. But it does really fill you up just like a restaurant meal.
Mmmm...definitely a nice one.
