Saw this warm fuzzy orange glow in my parents' room from the setting sun in the evening. Went over to the window for a look...woahh...it was a nice sunset in sight. Heh...quicky rushed to get my camera to snap some pics...

Though the view was kinda obstructed and all...really enjoyed the view. Been a long time since I last enjoyed a good sunset...the last time being my time in thailand I think. Offer me a good sunset anytime...I just can't seem to resist it. The sense of serenity and awe-someness of it...at the end of the day, it seems to invite me to rest upon His promise, that there's the other side of day to look forward to.
Joined weilun & an ee later in the night for some overnight cycling and supper. Was kinda last minute...but I felt that I could do with some time-out.
It's been quite a long while since I've last cycled. Fun indeed, reminds me of the time I cycled so often with my friends. Night cycling is especially cool, with the cool wind blowing in your face, music plugged into your ears...nice. =)
Met them at simpang bedok for supper.

It's been awhile as well since I had supper there. It used to be a favourite haunt for some of the older church peeps and I, where we would go after some late night church session. The latest was the late night supper at 3am with my brother, who drove me there at the night of my arrival back from the thailand exercise.
It was crowded and kinda noisy yesterday though, due to the world cup. Oh, the malay uncle serving us was funny lah...in a cool way. He was introducing to us the various roti-johns they had...
"..so what roti-john you all want? john-chicken and cheese? john-chicken mushroom? john mutton? john travolta??"
We were like...err...okaaayy... -_-"
Haha...funny cool guy man. I like hehe. Food was pretty good too.
After the supper and chat, we decided to pop over to east coast. Too nice a night to end it so fast I guess.
We parked over at a fenced stone ledge after getting some drinks at the food centre. Nice place to chill at, it was. The ledge was good enough to sit on comfortably, with the fence as backing to lean back on, and the tide of the waves crashing right beneath your feet. Watching waves wash back and forth is another thing I don't seem to get tired of. Eave wave is different, gentle and strong, a pattern it follows, yet it's still random.
Order in the midst of chaos, peace in the midst of storm.
With a drink in hand, feeling the cool breeze's constant gentle brush and caressing across our face, glowing lights far out into the darkness of the night revealing just enough to intrigue you, voices of our chatter trailed off into the still peaceful night.
It was.....refreshing.
Really enjoyed the night as we left for home at 3 plus.

Somehow couldn't quite really get to sleep when I reached home. Even when I finally dozed off...it wasn't a peaceful rest. My body felt tired, but my mind seemed...troubled. Didn't even manage to sleep in despite my tiredness and late hour.
Couldn't quite put a finger to it.
Just feel...troubled within.
I need You constantly...I really do.
