Woahh....what a tiring day. Feels drained...but feelings of gladness and thankfulness within over the interview today.
Tried to leave home earlier...but somehow, still kinda fell behind time. Was around 2.30 when I reached clementi. With 30 minutes to go before appointment time, decided to take a cab, since I wasn't too certain of the bus route as well.
Managed to reach 10 minutes earlier, which was good. Gives me the time to cool down and steady my thoughts upon Him.
What a big office building and secure it was, needing to sign for a visitor pass. Within moments, that all too familiar world of stepping into the working environment came back.
The whole interview lasted 1 hour plus. And it surprises myself to say this, but it was a pretty pleasant experience. The initial anxiousness and all was there. But somehow, as I talked to Him, there was that sense of assurance, that no matter the results, it's all in His hands. I just had to do my best.
As the 3 ladies interviewed me, things began to loosen up as I shared. Apparently, 1 of them was from my poly internship company! What are the odds man...
After the interview, was this "testing" section where I was given this e-learning program to walkthrough and quality check. There wasn't really that usual pressure I would expect during interviews. Moments abounded for me to remind myself to focus on Him.
Well, from their feedback, they were all pretty pleased with my resume and interview session. It's just a matter of them interviewing the rest of the applicants.
A reply should be coming tomorrow.
But I'll leave that into His hands. Just thankful for the pleasant people I had the opportunity to interact with and how things turned out and flowed.
Thanks for those who remembered me in prayer...appreciated.
And.....thank You.
