It sure has been some hectic weeks recently.
Can finally catch a breather....in some sense. The party's over...but guess that'll come later...kinda feeling too tired at the moment.
Physically exhausted and mentally drained man.
Had an interesting game played during youth which some of the people who went for the camp learnt from. Heh...interesting game. Managed to get the chance to hear some of the youths share about their experience from the joint youth camp, and I'm really glad with what I heard. I believe it was really a time of blessing for those who went.
The teaching sessions they had seemed pretty good, even from the brief sharing by Steven and the youngsters of what they learnt. Especially the part on the illustration of internal strife and shooting down of each other. Honestly, how many among us find within ourselves, scars and scratch marks of wounds, left behind by unkind words, judgemental criticisms and harsh remarks of expectations...by the tendancies of people to speak more than listen.
Especially for those youths who had "left". Isn't it confounding to hear of fellow brothers/sisters who hold back from coming to a ministry out of...fear? In church where the mark of Jesus being known is supposedly by the love shown to one another?
A sad situation...isn't it?
But I'm glad for those who had the chance to hear about this message...may it be a start for things to come, I hope.
Anyway, thankful for the youths around to help with carrying the party tables. Definitely made things much easier. But due to the rain, we were all stuck in the service hall till 4. Man...what a crazy time it was...having the whole service hall to ourselves. Somehow the guys were all hyper and decided to climb up the stairs to explore the tower. Man...was it freaky hehe.
With the rain finally small enough to make a move at 4pm, we had our super late lunch at airport. Guess we just wanted somewhere different.
Which explains why I haven't had my dinner. And I guess I'm feeling all tired just thinking about the work that's kinda stacking up in office. With my contract being extended for the closing phase of the project...seems like a whole lot of stuff to do...and a trip down to KL for software training to the guys there to look forward to. Don't know...just feels kinda "lonely", after having given the time to do the party and stuff, it's now back to handling all the work waiting for me.
Grrr....having a headache jus thinking about it. I think I need rest man. But first...dinner. Mmm....a cool, rainy night...just nice for a bowl of....
