That's how the assignments feel so far man. But I guess it's beginning to sink in better, though still hectic. And adding on to that...all the materials buying and carrying ain't really helping it either man...
yeah...do remember to say hi if you see me chugging this folio carrier along bugis street
it's really a pain (both figuratively and literally) to carry that and squeezing in with the morning crowds in the train. Maybe that's why one of my lecturers commented, that designers, for some reason, usually stands out in a crowd no matter where they are....somehow.
Honestly, it's fun and interesting learning about all these foundational design stuff...really neat. Just that the seemingly endless work gets to me. Thankfully to God, managed to have a group of friends to keep things sane.
And oh yeah, from that group, it turned out that 1 of the girls is a fellow christian. Really thankful for that, to know of a fellow sister going through it together.
Heh, and it seems, in order not to become insane from the work, crapping and getting high and crazy is the way to go at times man. Just into the 2nd week, and we already stayed till 9pm in school to do some colour printing assignments. It was really stressful, rushing to complete it...and at the end, it was really the company around that helped to keep the stress at bay. Although my tshirt was splattered on by my friend while we were cleaning up the place...bummer man.
as usual...it was all good and normal at first,
until we decided to check out the students' lounge for the first time,
somehow things went downhill & we went crazy....

it was kinda freaky actually, like watching david blaine live... =S

Yeah, it's been cool so far..though for some reason, they're starting to call me Marcus...oh well.
Simple pleasures along the way. It's so easy to feel overwhelmed along the way....and I would certainly hate to lose the joy in what I'm doing.
Afterall, designers create.
And what's creation, without life in them?
