Managed to actually bump into my army mate yesterday at bugis mrt after school. Yeah, my comrade in arms on the battlefield, of video-ing heh.
Really brought back memories of us working late into the wee hours over night, on weekends, on off days just to rush out that video to be showed to this lieutenant colonel, that colonel. Yeah, it was a path not many people treaded upon, nor wanted to. You can never imagine the over-flowing sense of gladness, when we finally finished and mass produced the 2 vcds worth of video of our recruit's BMT journey.
Mind you, that 1 hour plus movie video, took months of shadowing the recruits in their activities and headache inducing editings. Looking and listening to our own video right at the end, I was ready to cry at my own ardourous journey taken.
Still remember our wish to co-startup a freelance videography company, and the first question he asked me when he saw me was, "so how, when do we start the filming thing?"
Haha, how time flies.
He's in NIE on the teaching path.
Me?
Smacked right in the middle of all things, and nothing.
