Woah, is it just me, or has it been really a long time since I've posted huh? Wouldn't be surprised if I'll be reading this post myself haha. No idea man, just haven't really got the mood to update, ever since the crazy period of year end assignment submissions.
But yeah, it's over, but other things are coming up man. (Reservist in camp training next week!! ahhhhhhh)
Anyway, this is especially to those who've been sticking around despite my absence, and all the concern shown and prayers offered. Just to give you some glimpse of my work over this term. It's all blood and sweat man, really.
It's really something to look at the fruits of our labour. Hope you enjoy looking through them as I do..
advertising module. chose to redo an ad for this thumb-scanning video rental service. apparently, my class didn't really like my thumb, so the left one was chosen in the end. my thumb's still recovering from the rejection... =(
ooh, i like this water color cum color pencil cum black marker piece,kinda has a movie poster feel to it.
ooh, our first work with illustrator. basically had to make changes and stuff to original comic covers. heh, another piece that i like. gonna put it up in my room with my spidey posters!

it's for our modern vector art infused china-puppetry lamp
here it is lighted up. the concept was basically to put the shadow objects (our faces) behind the lamp surfaces, on the inside of the cube. so when it lights up from within, you'll see the silhouettes being formed on all the sides. really looks cool man. (at least to me lah)i would pay to put it in my room =D
to wrap things up, here's a flashback shot of my entry piece for nafa application. hahaha looking at it now again, man.... =SWith that, the 1st year in school comes to a close. It really feels long at times (especially during submission periods), but it's only been a year. His grace has led me through thus far. With the issues on hand, I really wonder how I make it through many a times.
But I guess sometimes, I'm required to just follow, and not understand. It's been a blast, learning all these stuff, and oh, especially the people too.
